Chicago Fire starlet Brian Gutiérrez has completed a move to Liga MX giants Chivas.
The 22-year-old was under contract with the Fire through 2028 after coming up through the youth ranks, but his recent acquisition of a Mexican passport made him a top candidate to make the move south of the border.
Gutiérrez bagged 11 goals and 4 assists across all competitions for Chicago, earning himself playing time with the U.S. Men's national team.
However he remains eligible to represent Mexico, a possibility that has grown realistic since securing Mexican citizenship.
