A grotesque injury occurred Saturday at Mohegan Sun.
When the gloves come off, there's always a chance for something gnarlier than ever before.
Saturday's BKFC Fight Night card at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., pushed the limits of viewers' stomachs when fighter Stash Kuykendall suffered a shredded eyelid during his bout vs. "The Ultimate Fighter 31" quarterfinalist Rico DiSciullo (h/t X user @imstillshannon).
DiSciullo defeated Kuykendall by TKO in Round 2 but the superficial damage was already done. Kuykendall's left eyelid looked like it went through a paper-shredder with large portions of it flat-out missing.

The status of Kuykendall's eye is unknown at this time. He has not posted on social media since the incident.
The loss drops Kuykendall to 0-2 in bareknuckle boxing while DiSciullo moves to the palindromic, 2-0.
