Layton Von Brandt Names Penn State in Top Eight
Former Penn State commit Layton Von Brandt named Penn State in his top eight as the Nittany Lions try to pursue him again:
It will still be a bit of an uphill battle for the Nittany Lions to land the elite 2027 offensive lineman, but there is still a decent chance he sticks with his original commitment.
Penn State Offers Four-Star Defensive Lineman
Penn State has extended an offer to 2027 four-star defensive lineman Luke Starcevic:
Starcevic was high on Iowa State’s radar, and with Matt Campbell now in State College, Penn State was quick to offer him. This would be a massive pickup for the 2027 class and the defensive line.
Penn State Offers 2027 Offensive Lineman
Penn State re-offered 2027 Texas offensive lineman Peyton Miller:
Miller was offered by James Franklin and visited Penn State earlier this spring. Matt Campbell and his staff extended another offer on Saturday. Good to see Campbell following up on the program’s previous recruiting relationships. Miller is the No. 11 interior offensive lineman in the 2027 class.
Penn State Offers 2027 Wide Receiver
Incoming Penn State wide receivers coach Noah Pauley has offered 2027 Texas wide receiver Tre Moore:
Moore is the No. 18 receiver in the 2027 class. Competition for him will be tough, with Oklahoma, Texas, SMU, Miami, and Ole Miss all throwing their hats in the ring. Pauley has not wasted any time trying to build his recruiting class since being hired as Penn State’s receivers coach, a good early sign for a team starving for a game-breaker at wide receiver.
