Devon Witherspoon was named to his third Pro Bowl roster in as many seasons on Tuesday. According to Illinois, the Seahawks CB joins the legendary Dick Butkus as the only Illini alums to earn a Pro Bowl nod in each of their first three seasons in the NFL.
Spoon, the No. 5 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, is the seventh Illini ever to make at least three Pro Bowls. Butkus holds the record with eight.
Witherspoon has 64 tackles, six passes defended, and one pick this season for the first-place Seahawks.
