The Titans have completed all of their scheduled head coaching interviews
It appears the Tennessee Titans will not be hiring a head coach tonight. The team announced that they have completed in-person interviews today with Matt Nagy and Robert Saleh:
Now, we wait. Saleh is scheduled to have an interview with the Arizona Cardinals tomorrow. Matt Nagy is scheduled to interview with no one else because the Titans are apparently the only team interested in him. That should tell them something.
If they want Saleh, they are going to have to get a deal done with him before he gets on the plane to head to Arizona. Paul Kuharsky points out that just because the Titans tweeted that the interview is completed, it doesn’t mean that Saleh has left the building.
Saleh is probably spending the night in Nashville before his interview tomorrow. That means they could still get something done with him in the morning before he heads back west.
So, as PK says, we are just going to have to wait….
