Report – Inter Milan Consider €40m Swoop For Atalanta Owned Wingback Next Summer

Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are reportedly lining up a summer move for highly rated Atalanta star Marco Palestra.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the player’s substantial €40 million price tag has not deterred the Nerazzurri.

Marco Palestra has established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in Serie A this season.

Indeed, the 20-year-old wingback has flourished during his loan stint at Cagliari, racking up a goal and four assists in 21 league appearances.

Cristian Chivu’s men are determined to find a reliable long-term replacement for Dutch superstar Denzel Dumfries.

Aware of Palestra’s potential, Atalanta have slapped a staggering €40 million price tag on their sought-after teenager.

Furthermore, La Dea already turned down several offers for Palestra last summer.
