Kane 32, came to Bayern in 2023 from Tottenham Hotspur and has been an instant hit with now 119 goals in 126 appearances across all competitions. Bayern have said for a long time they want the England captain to stay beyond next year.
Kane reportedly has a release clause but has said he feels very much at home in Munich and sees no reason to look for another club.
Last season's Bundesliga title was the first in his stellar career. He was league top scorer in his first two seasons and leads the scorers' charts again.
CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen added at the DFL event that "we always said that we would speak with Harry during the season" and that he doesn't expect difficult talks.
"Harry has a lot of trust. He feels very well in Munich, has settled there, just as his family. Therefore we have no reason for haste," Dreesen said.
Munich also want to renew the contract of French centre back Dayot Upamecano which expires after the season. Bayern have made an offer and Eberl said they are "waiting for the answer."
The parties are reportedly yet to agree on a release clause and contract length.
