Roughly a week after Indiana downed Miami to become the third consecutive Big Ten team to win a national championship, the conference released the 2026 football schedule. And for the third consecutive year, Washington will host a reigning national champion.

Below is Washington’s 2026 schedule:

9/5: Washington State
9/12: Utah State
9/19: Eastern Washington
9/26: Minnesota
10/3: at USC
10/10: Iowa
10/17: at Purdue
10/24: BYE
10/31: at Nebraska
11/7: Penn State
11/14: Michigan State
11/21: Indiana
11/28: at Oregon

Washington opening the season against Washington State comes as no surprise, as it’s been known for quite some time now, but it’s still odd to see on the schedule.

Washington’s Big Ten opener will be against Minnesota; it’ll hit the road the following weekend to take on USC. Home-away-home-away is a pattern that sticks throughout UW’s entire conference schedule, which isn’t a bad thing considering the challenges Midwest and East Coast travel present. Aside from Oregon, the most exciting road game is without question Nebraska.

Washington will march into one of college football’s elite environments hunting for a victory. It is the first of a five-game stretch that consists of Penn State, Michigan State, defending champion Indiana, and Oregon the rest of the way.

In my opinion, the easiest way to view the schedule of every team in the conference is the picture below via the Big Ten. You simply look at the logo and move downward.
