“The Notorious” is reminding the MMA world he’s not done yet.
Today, former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor shared a brand-new training montage from SBG Ireland, showing him moving explosively, throwing crisp punches, and radiating the intensity that made him one of the sport’s biggest stars. For the first time in nearly five years, fans are seeing McGregor in action—and he looks sharp, motivated, and undeniably serious about fighting again.
“I’m 100 percent — this is,” McGregor said. “We’re going in here 100 percent. I’m going into this fight 100 percent Conor McGregor. Not 92! 100 percent Conor McGregor.”
Check out the footage below:
McGregor’s long absence from competition has been filled with uncertainty. Beyond staying out of the Octagon, he’s faced legal troubles and a string of public controversies that have overshadowed any hints at a comeback. Still, this new montage suggests that “The Notorious” is refocused and eager to prove he still belongs among MMA’s elite.
McGregor wants to return at this year’s historic UFC White House card. The challenge? He currently has no confirmed opponent, and there may be contractual and promotional hurdles.
Fans are left to debate whether this is the start of a long-anticipated return—or just another tease from one of MMA’s most unpredictable personalities. But one thing is clear: McGregor is back in the gym, and the fire in his eyes says he has something left to prove.
Time will tell.
