The Georgia Bulldogs have made a scholarship offer to 6-7 quarterback Davin Davidson, who was a junior this past season. He plays for Cardinal Mooney.
Georgia has entered the race for one of Florida’s fast‑rising quarterbacks.
Cardinal Mooney junior Davin Davidson, a three‑star prospect in the class of 2027, announced he received a scholarship offer from the Bulldogs after a workout with offensive coordinator Mike Bobo.
“After a great conversation and throwing session with coach Mike Bobo, I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Georgia!!” Davidson posted on social media.
Davidson, a 6‑foot‑7, 215‑pound state champion who also plays baseball, is ranked the No. 31 quarterback in the 2027 class and the No. 438 overall recruit nationally, per 247Sports. He threw for 2,392 yards and 23 touchdowns as a junior.
Georgia, which has no 2027 quarterback commits, joins Miami, Florida State, Florida, Auburn, Iowa and Kentucky in pursuing him.
