Tottenham Hotspur came from behind to claim a 2-2 draw against Manchester City in the Premier League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Rayan Cherki gave City the lead inside 11 minutes, picking out the far corner after Bernando Silva won the ball high up the pitch.

Erling Haaland looked poised to double City’s lead, but his lobbed effort over Guglielmo Vicario landed on the roof of the net, leaving Pep Guardiola frustrated.

Cherki came close to scoring again after gliding past Radu Dragusin and evading Cristian Romero’s sliding tackle, only for Vicario to tip his effort behind.

Shortly before half-time, Antoine Semenyo made it 2-0, with Silva squaring to the unmarked Ghanaian to apply the finish.

That was Semenyo’s 12th Premier League goal this term, surpassing his best individual tally of 11.

Destiny Udogie forced Gianluigi Donnarumma to make his first save inside five minutes after the restart as Spurs started the second half strongly.

Tottenham halved the deficit through Dominic Solanke, whose effort found the net despite Marc Guehi’s attempted clearance. It marked the Spurs striker’s first goal against Man City.

Solanke completed the comeback in the 70th minute with a clever finish, sending the home fans into wild jubilation.

Both sides pushed for a winner late on, but neither could find the target as the spoils were shared.
