Gwyneth Paltrow is cheering on her “sister” Lindsey Vonn!

The Marty Supreme actress took time on Friday, Feb. 6, to show her support for the skiing legend on the eve of Vonn’s Olympic comeback and amid her ACL rupture.

“Love you so much sister,” Paltrow, 53, wrote alongside a photo of the three-time Olympic medalist on her Instagram Stories. “May the wind be at your back and angels at your side [and knee].”

Over a picture of Vonn suited up for the slopes, Paltrow added: “Let’s GO.”

The actress — a winter sports aficionado who last year called her civil lawsuit over a 2016 skiing incident “ridiculous” — has a friend in Vonn, who seemingly holds Paltrow in high esteem.

In a March 2024 Instagram Stories reel, Vonn paid homage to the Goop founder’s fashion influence.

Despite a crash last week in which she “completely tore” her ACL and suffered bone bruising and meniscal damage, Vonn, 41, confirmed she will still compete, and is set to make Olympic history if she medals in any of the three Alpine skiing events over the course of the next week.

The five-time Olympian is scheduled to ski in the women's downhill on Sunday, Feb. 8, the team combined on Feb. 10 and the Super-G on Feb. 12, but Vonn has said she will reevaluate after each competition.

On Thursday, Vonn shared a video of herself working out — with a brace on her left knee but seemingly nothing else holding her back.

In her intense session, the skiing star executed a series of weighted squats, jumps and furious prone flutter kicks.
