The Los Angeles Dodgers made a shocking roster move Friday, claiming former catcher Ben Rortvedt off waivers and designating Anthony Banda for assignment.
Banda came to the Dodgers in 2024 via trade, and has spent the last two seasons with the Dodgers. The two-time World Series champion posted a 3.14 ERA with the Dodgers in 119 appearances, and played crucial roles in the last two regular season campaigns.
