It’s Friday which means we’ve all survived to the end of another week! Now we get a weekend to recharge, to get all of our chores down, perhaps spend time with your loved ones, but most importantly it’s time to review the fan survey results.

With Big Ten season in full swing I’m focused only on basketball. I wanted to see how you thought Purdue would finish in the Big Ten and how Purdue would do in their final nine games. So let’s take a look.

The plurality response is that Purdue will finish in 3rd place. That received 37% of the vote. The fifth place vote getter, out of five, was first place with just 10%. I’ve gotta say I wish I was as confident as that 10% is. I can’t imagine that Purdue will walk out with a Big Ten title this season, but we can always hope right? Rebellions are built on hope.

Next, how many of Purdue’s final nine games, with the first one tomorrow, will Purdue win?

41% think Purdue will go 7-2 down the stretch. That means Purdue would finish Big Ten season at 15-5 which would, in many seasons be enough to win the conference, but I can’t imagine it would be this year. Just 8% think that the team will sweep the final nine games.

So what do you think? Did the readers get this one right?
