By the looks of it, Travis Hunter's NFL preseason debut with the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Pittsburgh Steelers will be remembered for a long time — and for a rather embarrassing reason.

Hunter played on both offense and defense for the Jaguars during Saturday's game, living up to his word of suiting up as both a wide receiver and cornerback. The No. 2 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft was in action for just a short amount of time, seeing 10 snaps on offense and eight on defense.

The 22-year-old two-way star finished with two catches and nine yards as a receiver but failed to record any target as a cornerback.

Making his defensive performance even worse, he found himself on the wrong end of a highlight play after Steelers running back Kaleb Johnson stiff-armed him and sent him falling to the ground while attempting a tackle.

Some fans even laughed at how Johnson "dribbled" Hunter's head during the play.

A photo of the embarrassing moment has since emerged, drawing plenty of reactions from fans and critics alike.

Many were impressed by the photo, with one even saying, "Perfect photo."

Another fan said, "looks like a video game glitch where one player’s stats are maxed out."

Others were quick to heap praise on Johnson. A commenter shared, "Thats clean!"

"That boy Kaleb really like that tho. Them Iowa RBs don’t be no joke. They gotta be good tho because they never have a QB," a supporter remarked.

Several viewers also poked fun at Hunter and his big miss. A troll shared, "travis hunter gonna need therapy after this matchup not game film."

A sixth poster joked, "Not to be confused with WR Travis Hunter."

Hunter had little opportunity to get settled on both offense and defense considering that it's his first NFL game. That being said, plenty of eyes will be on him the next time the Jaguars play.

Jacksonville faces the New Orleans Saints next on Sunday. Sure enough, hopes are high that Hunter will suit up and get more playing time.
