Ryder Cup $10,000 daily ticket? The Metro club ticket is real and it's spectacular

After cries of jacking up daily ticket prices to $750, the PGA said the equivalent of 'hold my beer' with $10,000 premium hospitality option

If you thought paying $750 for a daily ticket to the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage meant you’d have to skip your monthly car payment, well, the PGA of America said the equivalent of hold my beer.

That’s because it also sold a $10,000-per day package to the 45th Ryder Cup. The Thursday-Sunday premium hospitality option, or $35,000 for a weekly pass starting on Thursday, sold out to C-suite and senior-level executives and celebrity buyers nearly a month before the Ryder Cup begins on Sept. 26.

Sports Business Daily reported that the program, dubbed the “Metro Club,” gives buyers access to the clubhouse, preferred first-tee viewing, black car service from the city, all-inclusive food and beverage, and access to multiple premium hospitality venues around the golf course.

John Handley, the PGA’s director of championship sales and marketing, told SBD that roughly 60 Metro passes were sold for each weekday, while around 80 were sold for weekend play.

One more perk: preferred access to helicopter and private air travel to the Ryder Cup, though the cost of the flight isn’t included.  Apparently $10,000 doesn’t go as far as it used to.
