Baltimore can't afford much more of this.
The reason for Derrick Henry's fumbling problem, and how he can fix it before it's too late for Ravens originally appeared on The Sporting News
If Derrick Henry hadn't fumbled the football in Week 1 or Week 3, the Baltimore Ravens could very well be 3-0.
He also fumbled in Week 2, but that didn't stop Baltimore from smashing Cleveland.
It's entirely out of the ordinary.
In the last two seasons combined, Henry fumbled on 0.46% of his carries. So far this season, it's 6.9%.

Long-time NFL defensive back Devin McCourty told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, "Henry’s elbow was too low last night. It made it easier for Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson to strike from behind, punching the ball out."
Florio goes on: "Henry, as McCourty sees it, needs to pull the ball higher and tighter when defenders are close enough to try to punch it."
Henry was clearly upset after the ball hit the ground on Monday night. He practically threw himself onto the bench in frustration.
The Ravens can't be happy about it either, but it's not like they can turn away from King Henry. He's one of the best backs in NFL history, and somehow he has pretty much defied aging.

So it's about problem solving at this point, not punishment.
Henry is surely beating himself up enough about his mistake.
The Ravens play the 1-2 Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4. One of the two preseason Super Bowl favorites will fall to 1-3.
Baltimore needs Henry to hold onto the football to have a chance to knock off Kansas City.
