The Kansas City Chiefs' offense has been a hot topic of discussion this season and not in a good way, as Patrick Mahomes and Co. have struggled to get anything positive going.

Averaging just 20 points per game, along with a poor run game that can't seem to get any juice going, the Chiefs have been a hard watch, something we haven't really become accustomed to.

Now come the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, and if there ever was a time to get this offensive slump fixed, it's now. But will they?

For NFL.com's Bucky Brooks, until two things get fixed, it will be struggle town for Kansas City.

“They’re going to have a tough time winning against the elites if they’re not able to put up points,” Brooks said on The Insiders. “This is a team that has to struggle for everything they get, they’re not explosive on offense in any way, and even if Xavier Worthy comes back, the root of their problem stems from the fact that no one really respects their run game.

"Until they fix the offensive line and the ground attack, we won’t see the fun-loving Kansas City Chiefs that we fell in love with.”

Will Xavier Worthy play vs. Ravens?

Given that Worthy was a full participant in practice this week, it is a good sign that No. 1 will take his place on Sunday, and boy, do the Chiefs need it.

But as Brooks stated, even with Worthy in the lineup, if the Chiefs can't get anything going in the run game, it is going to be hard for the passing attack to get rolling.

Defenses will just drop into coverage and dare the run game to beat them, and based on three weeks of evidence, Kansas City can't win that way.

The Ravens are fresh off giving up 38 points to the Detroit Lions, which was the second time allowing at least 30 points this season, so if there ever was a "good" time for the Chiefs to get their offense rolling, maybe it's now.

Yes, Worthy will help, but Kansas City needs far more than that to become a competent offense again.
