The Big Ten announced the kickoff times and TV designations for all the conference games next week, including Michigan Football at USC:
The Michigan Wolverines are coming off a bye week and will take on Wisconsin this Saturday, but a game that a lot of fans have had circled for this season is already next week — the road game in Los Angeles against USC. This will be Michigan’s second West Coast road trip since the Big Ten expanded last season; we all know how that game went at Washington, so hopefully the result this time around will be different.
On Monday afternoon, the Big Ten announced the start times and TV designations for all the games in Week 7. The Wolverines and Trojans will officially kickoff at 7:30 p.m. and be aired on NBC.
Lincoln Riley and his USC squad suffered their first loss of the season over the weekend at Illinois, 34-32. Quarterback Jayden Maiava has been fantastic this season, completing 70.5 percent of his passes for 1,587 yards, 11 touchdowns and just one interception, which came last weekend against the Fighting Illini. He’s also only been sacked three times this year, as he is elusive in the pocket and is able to get the ball out quickly before being taken down for a loss.
The Wolverines are 5-6 all-time against the Trojans, with the last game being played at Michigan Stadium last season in a thrilling 27-24 win. To find the last road game Michigan played in the regular season against USC, you have to go all the way back to Sept. 28, 1957. The Wolverines won that game, 16-6. Every other game played in California against these two teams has been in the Rose Bowl.
