Bengals receiver/returner Charlie Jones injures ankle vs Broncos in NFL Week 4

In Week 7 of the 2024 season, the Bengals' Charlie Jones returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown against Cleveland.

Cincinnati Bengals receiver and returner Charlie Jones suffered a right ankle injury during the third quarter of the team's NFL Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High on ABC's Monday Night Football.

The team announced that Jones' return is questionable.

Receiver Mitchell Tinsley was back to return a fourth-quarter punt.

Jones was inactive because of a groin injury Weeks 9 through 18 of the 2024 season.

During Week 7 against the Browns, Jones returned the opening kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown. It was the Bengals' first kick return for a TD since 2020, when Brandon Wilson had a 103-yarder against the New York Giants.

A fourth-round pick of the Bengals in the 2023 NFL draft from Purdue, Jones returned a punt 81 yards for a touchdown in the second game of his rookie season, against the Ravens in Cincinnati.

Nicknamed "Chuck Sizzle," Jones missed several games of the 2023 season with a thumb injury.
