Jaguars injury report: Travon Walker (wrist) misses practice after surgical procedure

Pass rusher Travon Walker did not practice on Thursday after a procedure on his wrist

Jacksonville Jaguars pass rusher Travon Walker missed the first practice of the week as he recovers from a surgical procedure on his wrist.

Walker was announced as "day-to-day" by head coach Liam Coen after having a surgery to fix the wrist injury he suffered against the San Francisco 49ers.

His game status against the Chiefs is in jeopardy, but Coen said Walker is a player who they'd play even if he missed time on the practice field.

"He's got that kind of mindset and mentality," Coen said. "He's going to try to do everything in his power [to play] he just cares so much."

The Jaguars suffered several other injuries during their Week 4 win, but had almost full attendance during Thursday's practice. Linebacker Yasir Abdullah was the only other player who missed practice.
