In 2024, tight end Mike Gesicki played in all 17 games for the Bengals, and had 65 catches for 665 receiving yards with two touchdowns.
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Mike Gesicki suffered an apparent injury during the third quarter of the team's NFL Week 5 game against the Detroit Lions at Paycor Stadium.
"First catch of the day by Mike Gesicki," Fox play-by-play announcer Kevin Kugler said. "He's being looked at on the Bengals' sideline. He's in some pain."
Gesicki did not play in the Bengals' first two preseason games against the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders. He appeared to tweak his hamstring toward the end of a Saturday night practice during training camp at Paycor Stadium, and wasn't at practice the following day.
In 2024, Gesicki played in all 17 games for the Bengals, and had 65 catches for 665 receiving yards with two touchdowns.
Gesicki was held on a Bengals 2-point conversion attempt at the end of the Week 10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, but officials didn't throw a flag. Gesicki had five catches for 100 yards with two touchdowns in the Bengals' Week 9 win against the Las Vegas Raiders.
In Week 8, Gesicki made an impressive, one-handed catch during a second-quarter scoring drive in a loss to the Eagles.
Gesicki is in his eighth NFL season, second with the Bengals. He played five seasons with the Miami Dolphins, and one season with the New England Patriots.
