ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark blasted Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning with a tweet during the team's NFL Week 5 game against the Detroit Lions at Paycor Stadium.
"Who is Jake Browning's backup?" Clark tweeted. "Because he can't be any worse today."
Third-string quarterback Brett Rypienreplaced Browning at QB during the Bengals' Week 3 loss to the Vikings in Minnesota. Rypien spent the 2024 season on the Vikings' practice squad.
After the Bengals' Monday Night Football loss to the Denver Broncos, Clark compared the Bengals to Bishop Sycamore. Clark also referred to the Bengals as a "get-right game" for any opponent facing them.
