ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Jared Nightingale will make his regular season debut as the Rockford IceHogs head coach Saturday evening when the IceHogs host the Milwaukee Admirals.

Nightingale has been an IceHogs assistant coach previously. Last season he was a head coach in the ECHL in South Carolina. Now he’s leading a group of young men who have aspirations of reaching the NHL.

Nightingale wants to help them achieve that dream. He also wants to see them develop good habits and learn how to win in Rockford.

So, what’s the biggest thing he wants from his players this season? He wants them to show up at the arena ready to compete every game.
