When 17th-ranked Vanderbilt welcomes No. 10 LSU into Nashville, the Commodores will be in unfamiliar territory. But definitely not in a bad way.
Clark Lea's team is a 2.5-point favorite over the Tigers, and it's the first time they're not underdogs in the series since 1948. This is significant considering the history between these two SEC teams. LSU hasn't lost in the past ten games dating back to 1991.

The 24-21 win in 1990 was the only one for Vandy going back to 1976. Since then, LSU is 14-1, and 25-7-1 overall over the past 123 years. Needless to say, the Tigers have dominated the Commodores.
However, Vanderbilt looks to reverse that and goes for a major win on Saturday. This is also the first time they're favored in the previous 51 SEC contests. Rare for them to be in this position, but also a challenge.
As for Brian Kelly's LSU squad, the bounce back 20-10 win over South Carolina came at the right time. After being cuffed down on both sides of the ball in the loss to Ole Miss, anything less than a good win would've been a devastating blow.
Vanderbilt welcomes LSU on Saturday (Noon ET, ABC).
