The Cincinnati Bengals don't plan to trade defensive end Trey Hendrickson at this time, despite interest from San Francisco, according to ESPN.

The Cincinnati Bengals have no plans to trade defensive end Trey Hendrickson at this time, despite interest from the San Francisco 49ers, according to a report Oct. 15 from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

ESPN's Dan Graziano added that he's been told the same thing about Hendrickson, but "let's see what happens these next couple of weeks … (if they) can hang in a messy AFC North Division race."

Former Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason told Kay Adams earlier in the week that he thinks the Bengals should trade Hendrickson if he's healthy.

Hendrickson was injured during the second quarter of the team's NFL Week 6 loss to Green Bay at Lambeau Field.

Hendrickson is on the Bengals' injury report with a hip injury, and missed practice Tuesday night.

The Packers reportedly pursued a trade for the 2024 NFL sacks leader before acquiring defensive end Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys for two first-round picks and defensive lineman Kenny Clark.

Hendrickson's revised deal with the Bengals included a $14 million raise.
