Report – Inter Milan Step Up Pursuit Of In-Demand Hajduk Split Teenager

Serie A runners-up Inter Milan will reportedly accelerate their pursuit of Hajduk Split prodigy Branimir Mlacic in January.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the San Siro giants are keen to win the race for the 18-year-old’s signature.

Branimir Mlacic has emerged as one of Inter’s top targets ahead of the winter transfer window.

Indeed, the teenage defender has impressed the Nerazzurri hierarchy since breaking onto the big stage with Hajduk.

However, Inter are not the only top team interested in the Croatian youngster.

In addition to the Nerazzurri, Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Olympique Marseille have also set their sights on Mlacic.

Yet, after making contact with Hajduk and the player’s entourage, Inter are at the head of the queue.

Furthermore, the Italians are eager to close the deal for the talented center-back next month.

Hajduk has slapped an affordable €5 million price tag on Mlacic.

Meanwhile, Inter would need to decide whether to leave the player in Split on loan until the end of the season.
