UFC Vegas 112 results: Kevin Vallejos destroys Giga Chikadze with wild spinning backfist KO

Giga Chikadze vs. Kevin Vallejos squared off in a Featherweight bout earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 13, 2025) at UFC Vegas 112 inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Chikadze opened with a lot of feints and then whiffed on a high kick. Vallejos was patient early, waiting until a Chikazde slip to attack with a couple big right hand swings. Suddenly, Chikadze unleashed a powerful series of kicks to the body and head, stunning the young fighter for a moment. Vallejos moved into the clinch to recover, holding the kickboxer tight. Vallejos tried to wrestle to no real success, and when Chikadze returned to the center, he blasted the liver with left kicks once more. Vallejos found a couple short connections towards the end of the round, but it wasn’t enough to make up for all the kicks absorbed.

All told, it was a strong opening five minutes for the Georgian kickboxer.

Vallejos began the second with a body kick of his own. Chikadze feinted his way forward and stuck a hard front kick. Vallejos timed a nice right hand and pressed his advantage. As Chikadze moved to circle off the fence, Vallejos timed him with a quick spinning backfist, catching him right on the chin! Chikadze hit the floor, and Vallejos sealed the deal with a nasty flurry of elbows.

WOW! Giga Chikadze seemed to have his opponent figured out, stranding him at distance with his powerful kicking game. Vallejos has a serious gift of explosiveness though, and he was able to catch Chikadze completely off-guard with that spinning blow. The young talent’s finishing instinct was also on display, as he turned a knock down into a knockout in a split-second.

This very impressive win should push Vallejos into the Top 15 by next week.
