Kicking off the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the Rolex 24 at Daytona returns for another edition of the endurance race.

Often deemed North America's most prestigious endurance race, the Rolex 24 at Daytona puts drivers and vehicles to the ultimate test. The race is a 24-hour marathon, beginning at sunrise and continuing throughout the night.

There are traditionally around 60 cars in the competition field, with each team trading shifts between three and five drivers. Car manufacturers include Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, Lamborghini, Mazda, Ford, Lexus, Cadillac and more. 

This year's race will feature over 2,000 miles of high-speed racing and will represent more than 70 champions from all kinds of racing.

The first and final hours of the Rolex 24 will be broadcast on NBC’s main network. Viewers can also stream the broadcast on Peacock.

Leigh Diffey and Brian Till lead the commentary teams, with analysis from Calvin Fish, Townsend Bell and Oliver Gavin and reporting from Amanda Busick, Dave Burns, Kevin Lee, Matt Yocum and Chris Wilner. Marty Snider and Steve Letarte also will contribute to the broadcast.
